Working Agreement Scrum Inccleit0n
It`s the story of how I was able to help a team I coached improve working relationships and work together to achieve better results. While the result of this trip was a series of work arrangements that reflect a new way of working, the story focuses on the team`s journey toward self-discovery and self-improvement. Through this trip, the team has achieved a better understanding and respect for one another that transcends cultural and geographical boundaries. Today, one of the key questions surrounding the implementation of Scrum is, “How can leadership engage the organization in favor of agility?” In this short video, Scrum Co-Creator Dr. Jeff Sutherland answers this question. As the list of important people grew, everyone was ready to formalize them as the first working arrangements in team rules. While we analyzed several ways to improve our observation of Scrum values, we wanted to start slowly and add only what everyone had agreed to be there. We have also agreed to make our working arrangements a living document that has evolved to reflect new ideas. The process was simple, each person submitted two proposals to consider, we voted and selected the top 10, these became the ten offers of the team. This story of self-discovery traced the journey of a team of geographically dispersed and culturally diverse people. He highlighted the process of discovering hidden obstacles to create a better working environment for their team. They reached an aha moment that helped two distant groups join forces and work together as a team. Their agreement was formally rooted in the team`s culture, with a series of working arrangements connecting them.
